The current Steam description says you can play alone or with up to two friends: a party of up to three players including you. This count is scoped to Steam’s description, checked on 14 October 2026.
The Steam store lists both single-player and online co-op. It does not require you to form a party to begin exploring.
01A shared expedition.
The official description emphasizes cooperation and sharing discoveries. The same exploration, gathering, camp and cooking loop frames the adventure.
Our approach: agree on how much help and how many spoilers your group wants. Compare observations when a room puzzles you, and choose a shared goal for the next trip. These are suggestions for playing together, not verified rules for item sharing or progression.
02Check your platform.
The Xbox store lists PC and Xbox Series X|S. Its current description also says up to two friends, but its capabilities label says “Online co-op (2–4).” Because those fields disagree, this guide does not assert a maximum Xbox party size.
